क्या कर रहे हो?

"सुनना", "देखना" और "सोचना"

उनसे बातचीत करने के लिए कोई विषय न मेरे पास है, और न उनके पास है। इसलिए धीरे धीरे बातचीत बस इन्हीं दो तीन वाक्यों तक सिमट गई है।

जब हम कुछ करते हैं तो "सोचना" रुक जाता है, और जैसे ही कुछ "करना" रुक जाता है "सोचना" शुरू हो जाता है। इस तरह से देखें, तो "सुनना" होता है, तो हम कुछ कर रहे होते हैं। इसी तरह से जब हम कुछ "देखते" हैं, तब भी "सोचना" रुक जाता है। तो मतलब यह, कि "सुनना" और "देखना", "सोचने" से कुछ अलग तरह का कोई कार्य है। मतलब यह हुआ कि जब हम एक ही समय पर "सोचना", "सुनना" और "देखना", इन तीनों कार्यों में से कोई दो या तीन कार्य एक साथ करते हैं तो यह मल्टी-टास्किंग का एक उदाहरण हो सकता है। और मजे की बात यह भी है कि इनमें से कोई भी कार्य करते समय "सोचना" इसलिए संभव हो पाता है क्योंकि स्मृति से आ रहे "विचारों" की धारा ही "सोचना" कहलाती है। 

हमारी स्मृति में जो भी संचित है, वही बाहरी प्रेरणाओं से मन की चेतन सतह पर उभरता है, जबकि स्मृति का शेष अंश हमारे ध्यान (attention) से परे होता है। विचार करना या "सोचना" इसलिए एक ऐसी यांत्रिक गतिविधि है, जो अनेक कारणों से प्रारंभ होती है, फिर भी स्वयं से इसे संबद्ध कर लिया जाता है और अपने-आपको स्वतंत्र विचारकर्ता मान लिया जाता है। यह मान्यता / विचार भी एक और भिन्न प्रकार की अनैच्छिक कल्पना ही होता है, जबकि "सुनना" या "देखना" ऐच्छिक या अनैच्छिक नहीं होता। इस प्रकार, विचारकर्ता / विचार करना, "सोचना" देखने और सुनने से नितान्त भिन्न वास्तविकता है, और विचारकर्ता / विचार केवल एक कल्पना। 

जब हम किसी तथ्य को समझने का प्रयास करते हैं, तो अनायास ही तथ्य से विच्छिन्न होकर स्मृति में लौट जाते हैं। यह स्मृति भी आपकी या मेरी या किसी की भी नहीं हो सकती, जबकि भ्रमवश हर कोई उसके मस्तिष्क में संचित स्मृति के "अपने" होने का दावा किया करता है।

"विचार" के नितान्त शान्त होने की स्थिति में जब केवल "देखना" और "सुनना" ही होता है, और "सोचना" रुका हुआ होता है, तथ्य से अनायास साक्षात्कार हो जाता है। यह कौआ कुछ कह रहा है, यह तो स्पष्ट होता है, किन्तु उसका तात्पर्य क्या है इसका कोई महत्व नहीं होता। तब इसकी काँव काँव उसकी पृष्ठभूमि में स्थित मौन को और भी गहन कर देती है।

While I was looking for Adriatic Land / sea in Google Maps, my attention was drawn to the fact that Adriatic is somehow related to Adri / Adrian which might owe it's origin in the Sanskrit word  अद्रि :

as in हिमाद्रि, शेषाद्रि, सह्याद्रि, तुषाराद्रि, 

meaning a mountain.

Then to my mind came the title :

Merchant of Venice.

So I 'searched' for it and knew it was a drama written by William Shakespeare.

I could see during his time there was a great feud between the Jew and the Christians.

The storyline of this book / drama points out how a Jew loan-shark trapped a Christian and put a condition in the agreement that in case the borrower fails to repay the due in the scheduled time, a pound of flesh from his body could be cut as the penalty. 

And then the story takes a funny turn when his lawyer agrees to the same, but asks that while doing this, not a single drop of blood should be shed, as the agreement is silent about this. 

This reminded me of a dialogue in the Hindi Movie "Anand" where the emperor Akbar says to Salim : हम तुम्हें जिन्दा दफना देंगे। 

- (Ishaq Bhai...wala says) :

"लगी शर्त!  अगर आप मुझे दफना देंगे तो मुझे जि़न्दा नहीं रख सकते, और अगर ज़िन्दा रखेंगे तो दफना नहीं सकते!"

√गुड् - रक्षायाम् 

संस्कृत में 'गुड्' धातु का प्रयोग रक्षा करने के अर्थ में होता है। 

इसी से 'गुड मॉर्निङ्ग', 'गुड ऐफ्टर नून', 'गुड ईवनिङ्ग' तथा 'गुड नाइट' का प्रचलन हुआ।  

अरबी या फ़ारसी में 'सलाम' की व्युत्पत्ति संस्कृत के 'स-अलम्' में दृष्टव्य है। क्योंकि स-अलम् का अर्थ भी वही होता है, जो कि 'गुड्' का होता है। परंपरा की दृष्टि से भी 'गुड मॉर्निङ्ग' का वही तात्पर्य है जो सलाम (सलामती) का है। सलाम, अस्सलाम या  सलाम वाले कुम, अस्सलाम वाले कुम इसलाम आदि का एक अर्थ 'रक्षा करना', तो दूसरा 'रक्षा करनेवाला' भी होता होगा। 'गुड' से गॉथिक में  Good, God, Gott की व्युत्पत्ति भी विचारणीय है।

जैसे Nord तथा North नृत् (नृ अर्थात् मनुष्य) से व्युत्पन्न हैं, वैसे ही 'God', 'Good' को भी '√गुड्' धातु से व्युत्पन्न किया जा सकता है।

मैं नहीं जानता कि गॉड या गुड शब्द का उद्भव और प्रयोग और किस तरह से हुआ होगा!

The Universe manifests as soon as Narayana  wakes up from His Yoga-Nidra.

Another way of saying this is when Rudra wakes up from His Sleep or Samadhi.

The water is life and life is water.  The flow, the movement and the consciousness.

In Sanskrit  the Root-word  नृ  denotes flow or water. नारा  is the name of water. नारायण  is the name of the path of water.

नृ नृप नारा नर नारी नाड़ी नृषु नृषुलः नस्ल नृषतः नुसरत नसीर, नासिर नश्र नस्र all are cognates  सज्ञात सजात अपभ्रंश  from / of  नृ .

In English, this is as is in neuro nervous.

Synapses  सं अप् अप्सु  could be traced to this. The whole cosmic movement that gives rise to cosmic era of about 2000 to 2200 years is how the Earth moves anticlockwise in the Cosmos / Space synchronous to Zodiac. 

In the last previous to this post I had pointed out that the m.s. referred to was 8000 years old. How I arrived at this conclusion? 

The very first reason was that someone told me this. The another reason was, he also told me that this was the era of Cancer (the sign).

Accordingly I confirmed this must have been 8000 years old.

But from my very childhood I was interested in the hair-thin lines on the palm and I knew that these are really cosmic terminals where one is connected with the Whole.

They point out our earlier, present and the future lives at one glance.

With the arrival of Motherboard circuits I at once related how the cosmic brain works in synchronicity with our individual brains.

Now about the planets and the Moon.

Upanishad / पुरुष-सूक्त tells :

चन्द्रमा मनसो जातः।।

Though Earth is material body, the Moon is not only a material but a conscious (चेतना / चेतन) element associated with it. The Sun in Comparison is not only the Energy  (प्राण) but is also the Soul of the Universe. 

Upanishad too points out this :

सूर्यः आत्मा जगतस्थश्च।।

This Material Sun (मार्तण्ड) is the physical aspect of the Universal Cosmic Soul.

Scriptures do tell us Moon and Mars are sons of Earth. Mercury is the son of Moon, Saturn is the son ofthe Sun.

Jupiter and Venus are the guests in our solar framework.

Though both are in the role and position of a Master and the Jupiter is the teacher of the divine devata (देवता), the Venus is the Master of दैत्य / Demons.

These are clans / races only and should not be confused with the 4 classes (वर्ण) as such of the social order.  A Demon / Devata could be a Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya or Shudra, or may be an outcast also as is from the above-mentioned 4 classes (वर्ण).

The relative position of these planets on the palm too are in that order.

This whole information was with me since so long time (some 10-12 years ago) But it is only now, that I discovered the significance.
